Newbie Hop, Ariana, will appeal to brewers looking for very different characteristics from a Hop. Currently making its debut in large-scale field and brewing trials, Ariana is said to add quite a bit of depth and variety dependent on the style of beer brewed, quantity used and timing of the addition of the hops. It is said to be ideal for dry hopping and brewers have noted intense flavors of grapefruit, gooseberry, black currant and vanilla.
