Also known as Super Styrian, Aurora hops were bred in the 1970’s at the hop research institute in Zalec, Yugoslavia. Aurora is a cross between Northern Brewer and a Yugoslavian wild male. Aurora is a dual purpose hop that works well in Strong Ales, Pale Ales, and Golden Ales.
