The Herkules Hop, (although not spawned by Zeus but rather at the Huell Hop research center) was bred for bittering. This almighty German hop is the result of crossing Hallertau Taurus and Hull. As you would expect from a “Demi-God” of a Hop, it’s high alpha content is excellent for bittering and balances well with a sweet malt. A true hero, Herkules may be powerful for bittering but also contributes nicely with its citrus, peppery and piney aromatic blend.
